We take turns matching a card in our hand to the current card on the discard pile by colour or number, using action cards to skip, reverse or force others to draw. The goal is to be the first to shed all cards, with a tense moment when we must call “Uno” each time when we are down to only one card. Quick turns, unpredictable hands making other people draw a bunch of cards makes this a modern clasic for a reason.
