The two players take on asymmetrical roles in a kelp forest confrontation: one plays a cunning octopus that uses cards to move, hide and manipulate food and traps, while the other plays a shark that rolls dice to hunt, search and strike. The octopus aims to survive or feast on all food blocks, whereas the shark aims to corner and attack the octopus before it starves. The game is a hide-and-seek blend of deck-building, dice-bag actions, hidden movement, and deduction.
